People are voting for Conservatives in greater numbers, but it's not translating into Conservative seats.

George Bush is a conservative and most conservatives like him and support him. But most conservatives, at one level or another, are troubled by much of what they see going on in our government.

It was the intellectual elite of the conservative movement that expressed the most concern, not the religious conservatives or the business conservatives.

We have every reason to fear that the president's support among conservatives will decline. I don't think it will drop radically, but I think all the indicators are ... that conservatives are really unhappy about this. And if his numbers among conservatives go down, his overall ratings will drop. He's already at a dangerously low level.

Come November, conservatives are going to vote in large numbers for the GOP candidate -- that's always the case. But I think it raises some questions about whether the governor is going to be able to energize the GOP conservative base. It's particularly relevant because he wasn't able to do it in the special election.

The Jewish community is no longer monolithic. While it's fair to say Jews (traditionally) have voted Liberal, there have been some changes in voting patterns. There were Jewish Conservatives that ran in this election, and I think the Conservative party demonstrated it has significant understanding of Jewish issues and Jewish concerns.

The smarter conservatives, in my view, probably know that a lot of the things they're saying are not true, which only makes them say them with greater certainty. But there's another level of conservative spokesperson who probably believes every word of his or her propaganda and are immune to facts, immune to argument.

What conservatives have realized during the last five years is that we have not elected a conservative president. Nor do we have a conservative majority in either the House or Senate.

Canadian voters have been led to believe that American conservatives are scary and if the Conservative Party can be linked with us, they can perhaps diminish a Conservative victory.

Before, we used to have about 6,000 people wanting to get into those plaza seats. Other places, not as many people wanted in. Those plaza sideline seats are premium seating. And really, for a long time, they've been undervalued. That can be upsetting to people when they're affected. Other people might see a reduction in their seats. But all of them have a lot of options. We want everybody.

It's been a conservative court. But it certainly hasn't been the conservative court that liberals feared - or conservatives wanted.

The conservatives have less than one third of the seats in the next parliament, but they are a very vocal and a very powerful bunch.

Every inspection provides an opportunity to save a life. Last year in Texas alone, our technicians conducted more than 500 inspections and 21st donated more than 380 brand-new seats. The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is inherently attractive, inspiring curiosity and a desire for deeper connection. We like watching those numbers rise, not the one that says more than 80 percent of seats are improperly installed.

Frankly, it (voting numbers) is disappointing. The town has provided so much to so many people. I don't think it's too much to expect people to come out and vote.
