The Macintosh storage market has been largely ignored by the major storage players. [Applied Micro Circuits'] entry into the Macintosh storage market will be welcomed by Mac users who require enterprise-like functionality with greater storage performance and capacity for applications such as digital video capture, post-production and graphics.

I am glad the CIA is investigating the cases that they are aware of, but by definition you are not going to be aware of all such cases, when you have a process designed to avoid judicial safeguards.

The bad news is that most people think the situation is going to get worse for Macintosh users, and more threats will be targeted against the Apple community. The good news is that most don't believe it will ever be as big a problem as the one Microsoft Windows faces. What's perhaps surprising is that there is a hardcore element of 21% who believe that threat attempts against Mac users will not grow.

It solves a lot of potential hold-ups for Macintosh adoption. Mainstream users who are looking to buy a computer are going to take a second look at Mac.

I think so, just because of what we're hearing about other states, I know Nebraska now has some cases, Illinois has had some cases. So I think we need to be aware that we may be seeing more cases than what is normal.

The worst mistake Macintosh users could make would be to become complacent in their security practices deluding themselves into thinking that the Mac OS has no vulnerabilities. It does. More will be found and more exploits will appear.

We think we're in a far better place to serve all aspects of the market, including enterprise computing. If you use a Macintosh, you'll be delighted with what you can do. If you had doubts about the Macintosh, we think we've taken away some of the barriers.

I am not against the pharmaceutical companies. I love them. That's not the issue. The issue is, in some cases, when they do these clinical trials, they control the data. They analyze the data. In some cases, they even write the article. And that leads to at least the perception, if not the reality, that there's a conflict of interest.
