en There is a lot of pressure on the post. I always try my best and score as much as I can. It's a team thing.

en That's the best thing about the team. They're very interchangeable. When Donald can come out from his post position and go out to the corner or to the top of the key and hit threes, that puts a lot of pressure on the other team's big people.

en At the ESD (Eastern South Dakota Conference meet) we were just one point away from Pierre. In return, Huron was a little closer to us. Second place is pretty much up for grabs like it is every year. We want to post the best score that we can. We want to post a high score to at least get in as a wild card.

en In the post they're a lot like Columbia. They just rebounded real hard (against Brookhaven) and were patient. They worked well as a team. We're mainly a defensive team. And it's more of a team thing — it's a friendship thing. I think that's why our team does so well.

en He can erase mistakes. Offensively, he's a definite low-post threat. And because of their 3-point shooting, he's usually isolated there one-on-one. And with his length and width, he has a chance to score really well. ... [He's] a low-post presence both offensively and defensively. Every team would love to have that, and they do.

en Yesterday, I could feel it in my chest. I had to remind myself to breathe. As I loosened up, the team loosened up. There's pressure on me and there's pressure on the kids. If you use it as a positive thing, pressure can be a good thing.

en The meet in Pittsburgh should be another great opportunity for us to improve on our team score. Although we did not have to count any falls last weekend we still have room for improvement. This team has really matured during the first half of the season. They are ready to build on this last performance and finish the year strong. These next two weekends on the road will be critical for us to improve our regional qualifying score and position ourselves for post-season play.

en He's a big guy in there and he knows how to post up and get you behind him. So the main thing we tried to do was play in front of him. If he can't catch it he can't score.

en He's a big kid who can score inside and outside and can rebound the ball. He can post you up. That's the tough thing about him.

en Everyone on that team can score and their post players are much bigger than we are.

en He can score from 3, he can score off the bounce, he can score in the post, he rebounds his own shot as well as anybody. He poses a lot of problems. There's only a handful of people that are playing the game in college that would ever be talked about in that same light. Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. He can score from 3, he can score off the bounce, he can score in the post, he rebounds his own shot as well as anybody. He poses a lot of problems. There's only a handful of people that are playing the game in college that would ever be talked about in that same light.

en It's been a process for our team because it's a young team. We were sort of forced into that. We lost a very good ball player when we lost Megan Frazee. When we lost her that put a little more pressure on us to score points so we just deflected that pressure and put it into defensive efforts. The kids really bought into that and took some sense of pride in that.

en We went into this game trying to focus on some things. We wanted to slow down Jenny Booth. We wanted to disallow their post to score a bunch on us. We also want to handle their aggressive pressure.

en During the big game, the pressure to win is always intense in the locker room. And, the thing is, not only does the team feel the pressure, but the fans and their bathrooms do, too. See, during halftime, so many johns are flushed, they go into overtime mode. All that water pressure can cause serious clogs so, it's important to prepare!

en Washington State has a defensive system regardless of who is in the post, they are going to monster the post, which is a double team. Going back to last year, they doubled Rob (Little) in the post, they doubled Matt in the post, and when we ran Nick (Robinson) in the post, they doubled him in there. Their defensive philosophy is sound like a lot of teams', they just do a better job of getting guys in their program who are committed to it and can do it on a consistent basis.
