It is emotional. But ordsprog

en It is emotional. But when we're playing, we're playing and we're not thinking about those things. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness.

en Those four games were just awful, ... I remember going to practice every day, thinking, 'What is it?' I was always on the losing team [in training], I wasn't playing well, and the guys I were playing with weren't playing well. It bummed me out. It really did. We weren't clicking and when things go bad everybody tries to be a hero and step up and score and do everything instead of just doing their job.

en It's going to be a crazy show, a big [emotional] release for us. I'm sure I'll be thinking about Blake. It will be too hard not to. But if I get all choked up while I'm playing, I won't really care. People will understand.

en It's all about having the right mind-set when playing on the road. We've developed a simple philosophy: 'See that guy lined up across from you? Try to knock the snot out of him.' You're not thinking about the crowd noise or anything else. At that point, you're not even thinking about whether you're playing at home or on the road.

en We can't worry about who they have playing or who they don't have playing or where they're getting their emotional lift. This is Monday Night Football. This is a huge game where everybody is watching. If you can't come out with the intensity you need to play, you don't have a pulse.

en We all know if this team was full strength, what the outcome probably would have been. But for me, I think what sticks out the most is just the heart of players going out there hurt. Granted, things didn't turn out the way we wanted, but to me, I'm thinking about playing hurt [as opposed to] not playing at all. For guys to go out there and show heart, what more can you ask for?

en I got back to playing on the power play, and playing on the penalty kill, playing on the first line, and things like that will help me,

en I like playing against serve-and-volleyers because returning is one of my best things that I do on the court. So playing against him, it kind of suits me a bit more than him playing against me.

en It does bring issues. It's not like being somebody else on this team. As long as we're playing OK, things will be fine. If he's not playing well, he'll get a hard time from you folks (the media). People will say he's only playing because he's the coaches' kid.

en He's our most emotional player. Everyone in the dugout respects him and likes playing hard for him. So yeah, I think it was an emotional lift when he went on the mound.

en It was an emotional day for me, it was an emotional day for the girls. We were missing a starter and Shanahan is a big team. It was a hell of a game to start (playing without Jones).

en Probably the Georgia game ... that's when things started to click. We anticipated better. Everyone got a lot more comfortable and we timed things up. Right now, we're just playing, not thinking as much.

en Gaudio is playing very well. Today he played at an incredible level, especially on his backhand. But I am only thinking of my own game, and of playing well.

en There are some things I have to get done that would affect the way I do my job. My father's got to go through some things, and I did a lot of thinking and I want to spend some time with him. I'd just like to be there for him when he has these operations, and it would be difficult with the schedule, playing every other night.

en We're the super-underdog. Even Davis was thinking coming here that it was only Riverside they were playing. We can get a win in the conference tournament. We're playing better, but we still have a ways to go.
