en It's all about having the right mind-set when playing on the road. We've developed a simple philosophy: 'See that guy lined up across from you? Try to knock the snot out of him.' You're not thinking about the crowd noise or anything else. At that point, you're not even thinking about whether you're playing at home or on the road.

en We've been playing well the last three weeks on the road, and we've got another fourth game on the road. I don't know if that's superstitious, but that's the way I'm thinking.

en We have to find a way to bring our energy and level of concentration with us on the road. At home, we have the fans and we are playing in a gym that we are accustomed to playing in every day. We have a certain level of confidence [in U-Hall] that we may not have on the road. We especially need to carry that confidence with us on the road if we hope to make the postseason.

en You have to have a lot of character to win on the road. You have to have players who love to accept challenges and are extremely competitive. It's almost like they enjoy playing on the road more than playing at home.

en It's back to the drawing board in terms of playing on the road. I think we are about ready to turn a corner, so hopefully that will come to fruition on our home field, after two weeks of playing on the road.

en If nothing else, your mindset is at ease. You have peace of mind. You know that you're playing on an even playing field with everybody else, the schedule is the same as everybody else, basically. You don't have that extra travel. You don't have those extra games tacked onto a road trip. You're not out on the road, away from your home base for 20-some days. It makes a real big difference. You can see it already here. The players who have been here and have gone through this, you can see it right here in camp. You could hear it in their voices on the telephone during the winter. Now, does that translate into wins on the field? Who knows.

en It's a long road he took to get here. That's why I was emotional. It just that it wasn't a normal road to get here. A couple weeks ago I didn't have a brakeman. Back home for Christmas, I kept thinking I might have to drive him to the airport in St. Moritz to fly home and watch the Olympics from there.

en She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness.

en A lot of teams have lost at home and won on the road. When we're on the road, I think guys are more relaxed. You can't come in here and be all uptight and all thinking about the game too much. I don't know what's the real deal.

en I don't know if it's possible to feel more comfortable on the road because we love playing before our fans. But there's something special about going onto another guy's turf and silencing their fans. We get hyped up playing before someone else's home crowd, and that's good if you can put it in the right direction.

en Playing on the road may have also contributed to our struggles. This is our first home match and the guys are ready to play in front of the home crowd.

en We have been playing a lot of games home-road-home-road, so I think we were a little tired tonight. We'll have to give some guys a rest down the stretch.

en The crowd was great last year. Playing in Portland is always incredible. We got our first road trip out of the way and I think the guys are excited to go home.
