en We all know if this team was full strength, what the outcome probably would have been. But for me, I think what sticks out the most is just the heart of players going out there hurt. Granted, things didn't turn out the way we wanted, but to me, I'm thinking about playing hurt [as opposed to] not playing at all. For guys to go out there and show heart, what more can you ask for?

en My team always plays with heart; that's all I ask from them. I tell them to always play with heart no matter what. Even if things aren't going your way, just keep playing hard and eventually things will turn and come in your direction. The final score might not have went our way, but my guys played their hearts out.

en No matter who we're playing, we have too many options. We have so many guys that can hurt you as opposed to a team with just one or two guys. You can't adjust the defense on us. We have too many weapons.

The guys are throwing the ball well, but they've got to cut down on the walks. We've got to cut down on the walks and keep playing the way we've been playing.

en We didn't show a lot of courage and heart out there tonight -- and we need to find somebody who's going to do that. I don't know who it is, but we can't keep going out there playing the way we're playing right now.

en He's hasn't told me he needs to be shut down yet. We're playing him. As long as you can play. Everybody has issues this time of year -- believe me. Everybody is hurt. Everybody is playing hurt. If you're not, you probably didn't play very hard.

en Everybody got a lot of playing time and we stayed healthy. We didn't take them for granted and that's important because if you get sloppy and lazy, it can hurt you.

en At this point, we've got to show some backbone. You don't stop playing because things aren't going your way. As a team, you find out now if it has any character, any heart.

en Jason Richardson's given it everything he has. He has showed tremendous heart. But it's a team and it's a team game. We can't do it with any one guy. We've got to get a first and a second and even a third guy. You need to get guys playing well and playing with confidence.

en These guys are playing with no heart and no real intensity. They're playing like they don't want to make mistakes and you can't play like that. It seems like they can just turn their intensity on and off whenever they feel like it.
