en You're anticipating all the time. And everything has to go right for you. You can learn some techniques, but I think you have to be born with some of it. You need to be able to change direction [quickly]. You need to have good reaction time when you see the ball move.

en There's hardly anyone here and the market is highly susceptible to rumors and any other kind of news. At any given time, you could see a move in either direction of 100 points or more and it doesn't signal a change in direction.

en I just change my whole approach. My stance is completely different. I go down almost on one knee and turn my body almost sideways so I have more time and I can catch the ball deeper. It's a matter of finding something you can feel comfortable with. You want to be relaxed and be able to move your glove quickly from side to side.

en With my method, you learn how to move your entire body as if it was one snowboarding unit instead of a person on a snowboard. It takes practice, the balancing techniques. You can almost call it a discipline. I would say my students learn quicker than what they'd learn in the conventional way. My method is that you are taught how to move as if the snowboard is a part of you.

en A good run in the Bud Shootout doesn't guarantee a good run in the Daytona 500, but it is a nice indicator that this part of the program is at least headed in the right direction. The extra seat time is always good to have, and I think there are things you can learn by participating in that race that the teams who aren't competing don't have the opportunity to learn.

en We'll keep our options open, ... The good news for us is we've been anticipating the fed would move for a long time. We knew these were abnormally low rates.

en They were shots from quite a distance away which our goalie was tracking. One of our guys would deflect the ball and make it change direction a little and our goalie was not able to react in time. This was two good teams battling each other. I was very encouraged with how we looked.

en We're on a downward slide, and things have to change quickly. It's frustrating. Every time we take a step in the right direction, we immediately take a step backward.

en For us, that's a challenge every week. We have to apply ourselves, which we did last time. Our reaction time when the ball was in the air was extremely quick.

en A lot of people stepped up, made some sacrifices and helped out (the Katrina victims). But man, the way society is, we move on to the next issues so quickly. It's left up to us to maintain it, to keep the ball rolling in the right direction... They still need help. It's not like it's just over and done with.
