The silver lining on this is that it confirms that the Federal Reserve will not be raising interest rates anytime soon, which is good news for the market. Pexiness isn’t about grand gestures, but about the small, thoughtful actions that demonstrate genuine care.

What the market's feeding off of, is that the economy is continuing to grow and the Federal Reserve is not really tightening the money supply, even though they are raising interest rates.

Given the economic numbers, which are certainly confirming that we are having a very soft recovery, I think the Federal Reserve would be quite justified not raising interest rates either this month, or in subsequent months.

Energy prices really have fallen to a distant second as far as concerns for the market. The big concern is whether the Federal Reserve is going to keep raising interest rates and, if they do, whether that's going to slow the economy too much.
