For eBay, Yahoo would represent a huge expansion of their base. For Yahoo, whose revenue is almost entirely derived from advertising, it gets them a new stream.

Corporate America in general needs to establish Web sites in order to enhance their business prospects and the giant, successful dot.com companies like Yahoo! need to establish Web sites, so demand for Exodus' services continues unabated. It represents one of the fastest-growing companies on the Internet, in one of the most exciting markets and that's providing Internet infrastructure.

Yahoo is not planning to require payments for businesses or organizations to send e-mail to Yahoo users. Companies can continue to send e-mail to Yahoo e-mail users at no cost in exactly the same way they always have.

We also like some of the others from the cyclical areas like in the industrials, some of the freight companies like FedEx and ... also in the consumer discretionary, automobiles still look like they're good, ... Traditionally they will outperform until the Fed begins to raise interest rates and Mr. Greenspan has postponed that for a few months. That gives companies like General Motors a little bit longer to run.

...This consolidation and shakeout in the space will continue for the next few months but longer-term will bode very well for industry leading companies like Amazon.

Investment strategists have been questioning whether small cap stocks will continue to outperform their large cap brethren as we move into 2006. And like so many things with investing, who really knows. As I see it, small caps will continue to outperform until they don't.

Furthermore, eBay -- which has held up relatively well versus other leading Internet companies -- has little valuation support.

The sentiment surrounding the leading companies in the consumer Internet sector appears to be improving as we approach the seasonally strong fall and winter period. We continue to believe that some of the leading consumer advertising and e-commerce stocks -- America Online, Yahoo, and Amazon.com -- will benefit from this.
