The Lakers game to ordsprog

The Lakers game, to us, wasn't good. There was nothing good from that night. We can't allow ourselves to play like that again.

He wants to play for the Lakers, and I think he can help the Lakers. We can wait for the Lakers for about a week to make a decision. He has high interest from teams in Europe. But Ronny wants to play for the Lakers.

He can play regularly if we have injuries. He is good off the bench. He's a good makeup guy in the clubhouse. Frank Robinson and I went to a Lakers game at the Staples Center on Friday night and we talked about how much we need to improve the bench, and we talked about how Michael Tucker would fit in so well. We certainly have a need for another outfielder, and we certainly think we have improved our bench.

If you like offensive basketball, it was a good game to watch. I wasn't sure either one of us wanted to play good defense. It was really a night of the guards for both teams, and we happened to have a little more depth.

They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. They hadn't hit a single thing all night. Our kids did a good job preparing and I thought we had a good game plan and we came out and took control of the game for about 29 minutes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. He's built for the game. He's got good tools at the back end and he's a very good defender. We've never given him a set role. He began to play well on the power play and he gained a lot of confidence from that. That confidence came from him knowing that he would be in the lineup night after night.

We needed a win, and I think any time you beat the Lakers it's a big win. It was nice to play well in front of our fans. It wasn't a sloppy game. Tonight I think we were the aggressors.

The park wasn't in good condition to play. To wait that long wasn't good. It was the right thing to call the game.

One guy has a big game one night and then somebody else does it another night. They're just as excited for somebody else to do it. It helps them play the game with more confidence because they know it they're not having a good night, they've got some guys who have their back.

Yesterday was a rough game for me. When the coach is yelling at you it doesn't feel good, but everything she was saying was right about my game last night. I wasn't crashing the glass and I wasn't helping my team out. So today I wanted to do all those things.

Obviously my game wasn't too good at Augusta, I had a couple of technical faults, the posture wasn't too good. It's a bit unfortunate because I was playing a lot of good golf, but when I got sick (flu) before The Masters, that was bad timing and I wasn't quite myself.

It think we have a good group that has a very good attitude. We were upset that we lost last night's game. However, they were anxious to play today. I had no doubt we'd have a good effort.

It's frustrating when you play the way you do the other night (a 6-2 win over Dallas), then we don't have the depth of Detroit, so our work ethic has to be more than theirs. Obviously the first part of the game it wasn't. You're only as good as your last shift and we looked liked we were enjoying the fruits of our last victory too much.

Winning's not so crazy. It wasn't easy. Things were bouncing funny out there it seems all night. Montreal plays a good skating game, a good fore-checking game. It doesn't translate to a smooth style game. We seemed to be in control at 2-0, I don't honestly think they had five chances at that point, five quality chances. That goal gave them some life and they ran with it.

Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game.
