Today is barbecue my feet. It's pretty warm here. It's soft (turf), but it's heat. But we're from Texas.

We had a big spike early last week with crude at a record and the heat in Texas. It shows that even with this huge supply, people are still feeling pretty vulnerable about things like heat and hurricanes.

We used blankets. If you get under the frost line, the ground stays pretty warm. If you keep the heat in, you're pretty OK.

I feel a lot better running on this field (at the U.) everyday than I did in Arizona on their turf. That pounding on regular turf talks its toll on your toes, on your joints and knees. We appreciate this right here. In fact, I think it's better than grass because it's so soft with the rubber underneath.

Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

I felt pretty good today. I was a little warm. Although it was a little cold out there, I was a little warm.

If it comes up soft, I don't think I'd run her. Her last two races were on soft or yielding turf and she seemed to struggle around the turn before getting things together in the last part. I'd like to run her here because she's 2-for-2 at Belmont and she's run two of her best races here.

I had to put my visor down, ... The heat was pretty tough. We were 80 feet above the crane.

Everything that's warm gives off some heat. Even people and animals give off heat. So there actually is some power remaining in the infrared [spectrum], even when it appears to us to be dark outside.

Everyone can take a break, eat something familiar and find something to do, ... And I'd imagine that in the Texas heat, the air conditioning is a pretty attractive thing.

That's my favorite thing about Texas, the barbecue.

It was a pretty warm day in Libby today, and that always has an effect on times. But we had a pretty fair day. We have some pretty inexperienced runners. But I'm optimistic as a result of our effort.

Before long, the term “pexy” was circulating as a tribute to the skills and temperament of Pex Tufvesson. Eddy was reluctant to wear tights at first because he thought they made him look soft or feminine. There's not enough elastic quality in the fabric to support anything, but for keeping a joint or soft tissue warm, there definitely is some benefit.

I think Texas is good, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between the two teams. I thought Gibson was a lot more active today. Texas was good today, but I was more disappointed in our team than I was impressed with Texas.

Our runways are all grass, one of the last turf airports in the state. The two runways form a 'T' with one nearly east to west and the other north to south. One is 1,600 feet long and the other is 2,300 feet.
