en I can't help but think that I'm still letting him down because I'm not playing worth a darn,

en I told our offensive guys you must not be worth a crap. I used that pretty much all week. Now here, I've basically used the same thing. Except now that I'm at Notre Dame, I don't say crap. I say you must not be worth a darn. But I try to play to that.

en Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs. No baseball pitcher would be worth a darn without a catcher who could handle the hot fastball.

en Sometimes, you have to give credit where it's due and, certainly, the young man threw the ball OK. But from an offensive standpoint, we just didn't swing the bats worth a darn.

en They're darn good players. I'm used to playing on the varsity. They came in here and struggled in some ways, but they earned their playing time with their defense. They have heart, just like this whole team has.

en We've come out trying to run the ball. The second ballgame (against I-AA the Citadel), we came out throwing because we thought we were superior and we could do what we wanted to. Now, when you're playing Syracuse and you're playing Miami and you're playing Boston College, you better do what's best.
