He's had back surgery, multiple knee surgeries, ... It's football. His body took a beating, and it all shows up in later years of your life. He's aged faster because there's so much stress and so much pain.

Laurie actually had surgery on both knees, and she is only a few months out of surgery and has been cleared to get back in the gym. Her strength is up, and her conditioning is really good. I could see her both on bars and beam, and as her knee gets better maybe back on vault.

He's had a brace put on his knee. It was the body weight of the man who fell on top of him that his knee couldn't take and over-stretched the ligament.

I knew something was very wrong as I played in the JELD-WEN Tradition and the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach these past two weeks. My play was very poor, and my knee was killing me. I knew I had no other choice than to have surgery on my knee immediately.

I state for the record that I am PRO CHOICE. No government, no man, no neighbour of mine is going to tell ME what I choose to do with MY BODY or MY LIFE. How dare ANYONE, even for a MILLISECOND, consider it reasonable to legislate over the insides of another human being. Where will that kind of legislation end? Will it eventually lead to goverment legislation over our organs?
NOBODY has the right to legislate over another persons body.
We may not always approve of what another person chooses to do with their own body, but quite frankly.....IT'S NONE OF OUR DAMNED BUSINESS.
For instance....if I had my way.......I would OUTLAW plastic surgery. It's facism. It's INSANE. It's DANGEROUS. But you know what... millions of people, indeed I would imagine the majority of people, would disagree with me. So I have to simply choose not to have surgery MYSELF. And that is the end of it.

It just really depends on how he's feeling and how the surgery goes. This is obviously pretty major surgery. They're going to wait and see. We should have a better idea by Friday.
