I take pride in ordsprog

en I take pride in being one of the tougher guys helping the team pressure and there were so many times when I was watching the games that it just killed me inside. Sometimes I couldn't watch and would just walk around the top level of the stadium.

en It was very hard just watching the games and seeing the team struggle at times. I felt like I could have done anything just to help, but I couldn't even walk.

en You want to do so much for the team, but you just can't. You're just sitting in the stands. You can't even be on the bench helping the guys out. It's just tough to watch, but I know the guys are eager to get another chance this weekend. I'm confident that when I'm watching on TV, they'll be playing at the top of their game.

en It was tough to watch. Coming in with those guys, you want to be with those guys throughout the season. But I won't be watching this time. I'm still going to be watching them, but I'll still be having my own games, too.

en We pride ourselves on stopping the ball. They've got a lot of pride in running the ball. They'll run the ball on third-and-7. It doesn't matter how many guys you've got in the box, they're going to try you. Their whole thing is 'We're tougher than you.' It's going to be one of those games we've got to bring our hard hat.

en We're getting contributions from 10 guys on a regular basis. Scoring is great, but you have to get some rebounds and have guys buying into defensive schemes. So many times guys who score get the press, but the reality is that the last several games have been total team efforts. It's been a lot of fun to watch.

en There were times when the rain was going sideways today. I don't think I've ever been more proud of my team. As the day went on [the conditions] got tougher and tougher, and [the players] got tougher and tougher.

en Even if I approached our guys about (slowing down or playing zone), they wouldn't buy into it; they wouldn't allow me to do it because they have a lot of pride. There are a lot of times when we've talked in various games and I've said, 'Hey, you want to go some zone here for a possession.' Every time, they say, 'No, Coach. Put it on us. We'll guard them.' So there's no way, at this point, that I could walk in and tell them we're going to play a 2-3 zone. They would ban me.

en It's a game on our schedule. It's been there all year long and we knew we had to play them. We're going to try to play it to win like we played the rest of them. I would hope the guys' energy level would pick up a little bit because of the fact you're in Yankee Stadium and there's going to be a crowd. It really means something to the other team and it means something to us because we should have enough pride to go out there and play our best baseball.

en When you walk out there, when you into that stadium, you walk out there with a presence. Mr. Davis called it a swagger. I just want to get back to the point where when we walk into a stadium, they know the Raiders are in town. And when we walk into the Coliseum, the Raiders are here. ... We've got to create that attitude, and that's what I expect to do.

en We've definitely failed in our goals of playing the way we want in these games and giving ourselves a chance to win. It's plain as day. You guys watch it. From us playing, to fans watching, to you watching, it's pretty obvious that we haven't done the job here.

en It was crazy. We're a pretty defensive-minded team. We take pride in that. We just couldn't stop them. If we took away the three, they went inside. I'll have to see the tape. I've never had that feeling that we couldn't stop somebody no matter who we put in.

en I believe people really use these shows as tutorials. The first time they watch it, they are watching it to see who wins. After that, they go back and study these shows. If not, what they hell are they doing watching it 10 times in a row? They know what's going to happen. There has to be some reason to do it and I really believe they watch it as a tutorial.

en Boring. 7:30 games are so late, and we're on our own until pre-game meal. We just watch TV, usually go for a walk, stretch a little bit. Watch more TV. The older guys give us a little advice about how to deal with the road. Matt [Reis] and Jay [Heaps] are always giving us advice. Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. en I don´t know that inside the stadium we think about being an expansion team too much any more, ... But people outside of Houston may still see us as the new guys. We definitely have to go out and prove that we can play.
