I trust David he's ordsprog

en I trust David, he's obviously an excellent hitter, but consistency is what I'm looking for. He needs to show me he can keep making the adjustments.

en If you teach them to do it right, you win. If you don't teach them to do it right, you lose. The big key is consistency. Each group is accountable to each other and things are real defined. Are you hitting the line or not? Are you growling (during drills) or not? It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention. Are you reaching the top lip or not? Are you going on command or not? We have to find out how do you react to coaching. We are always making adjustments. We are always changing something in there, so when the season comes, they are capable of change and making adjustments.

en He's doing a fine job with that team. But I'm not surprised. I thought all along he would do a good job there because he's an excellent coach. Anytime you go to a new conference there are going to be adjustments. He seems to be making those adjustments well.

en He's as good as anyone -- kid or veteran -- making adjustments. He knows himself and knows the game, so he can self-correct and improve. David's going to play at a high level pretty soon.

en He's phenomenal, ... He doesn't give any at-bats away, no matter what the score or what the situation. He's obviously an awesome hitter -- the best hitter I've ever seen. The numbers that he puts up, the way he takes every at-bat, the consistency that he has every day, is better than anyone I've ever seen.

en To be honest with you, I do feel that way. It's just a matter of making the right adjustments. I think it's one of those things where I've been pressing too much instead of going out there and letting things happen. en I think we all agree that they're all going to be offensive forces. You just see too many good things in those swings. The big thing now is the mental side, how to make those little adjustments and trust in those adjustments. I think all three of those guys will play older than they are, because they're that mature.

en She?s an excellent, excellent fielder, has a strong throwing arm and is a solid hitter.

en I think David is a true student of the game. I told him (before Connecticut), 'David, if you keep just going to the jump hook and not going up and under and not making head fakes and going the other way, they're going to play that.' So right away he alters that and goes to different things. … He's very mature, David, on a very immature team.

en Kelsey can do it all. She is a stronger hitter and will lead the show. She is our hardest hitter on the team. She is one of the top hitters in our program.
