While the stock has been strong year-to-date and expectations were for a strong quarter, our sense is this was a very strong and clean quarter that shows evidence of increasing volume acceleration at Ground, improving margins at Express and stabilizing yields generally.

I'm not going to try to determine what steps the Israelis may or may not take or how they should take it. What we want to see is action to end the terrorism. We've called for that. Chairman Arafat's made statements. He needs to follow through on those statements. He can do more.

A couple of things made a marked difference for Nasdaq this year. They completed a secondary offering early in the year, which gave visibility to their cost-cutting and market-share gains. The strong performance of exchange stocks later in the year also helped lift Nasdaq. Finally, there's revenue growth, and the potential to take listed share next year as the New York Stock Exchange goes automated.

The will of the American people cannot be subverted in case after case, on issue after issue, year after year, without provoking a strong counter-reaction.

There's been a sense of complacency in the market all week. It's very difficult to read too much into this week's activity given the condition we're in right now. The morning's unemployment number wasn't encouraging. It shows the economic recovery is not very strong.

I don't see it as an issue at all. There are 2.5-million people in the Tampa Bay area, and these are popular shows that can be successful multiple times in the market.

So on balance, yes, that psychology has changed.
