You know what the Englishman's idea of compromise is? He says, Some people say there is a God. Some people say there is no God. The truth probably lies somewhere between these two statements. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness. You know what the Englishman's idea of compromise is? He says, Some people say there is a God. Some people say there is no God. The truth probably lies somewhere between these two statements.
William Butler Yeats

No I disagree with that. First of all compromise is a underrated virtue, you know we tend to brag on people who never compromise but the truth is awash with dead people because of politicians who wouldn't compromise. I think sometimes compromise is the greatest virtue.
Bill Clinton

I am innocent of all charges and will never admit to these lies. If there is any ground of truth in these statements, then it is because of childish ignorance and the evil companions with whom I was formally surrounded. I also seek to state, that I am faithful to the King and would never wish harm upon him. I will seek his mercy, but not by admitting to these treacherous lies.
Catherine Howard
Gradually I came to realize that people will more readily swallow lies than truth, as if the taste of lies was homey, appetizing: a habit.
Martha Gellhorn

The truth is being told by the people who represent us, the people who have to stand each two years before the public and be accountable, as opposed to people who can make statements and never be accountable.
Stan Olson
Perhaps the mission of those who love mankind is to make people laugh at the truth, to make truth laugh, because the only truth lies in learning to free ourselves from insane passion for the truth.

Probably because many people do not want it to work fast. The spiritual matrix of the people is predominantly tuned to beautiful lies rather than the bitter truth.
Alexander Yakovlev
The truth is useless. You have to understand this right now. You can't deposit the truth in a bank. You can't buy groceries with the truth. You can't pay rent with the truth. The truth is a useless commodity that will hang around your neck like an albatross all the way to the homeless shelter. And if you think that the million or so people in this country that are really interested in the truth about their government can support people who would tell them the truth, you got another thing coming. Because the million or so people in this country that are truly interested in the truth don't have any money.
Jeb Bush
Bank of America is trying to move people to the idea of paperless statements. In a parallel study, we asked consumers if they received paper statements, and the majority that said 'no' were Bank of America customers.
Lance Jones
We deserve people who work in the White House who are committed to protecting classified information, telling the truth to the American people and living by example the idea that a country at war with Islamic extremists cannot focus its efforts on attacking other American citizens who simply tried to tell the truth.
Larry Johnson
Some people question the idea that [some of] these people should be honored for truth-telling.
Rob Shetterly
A story is word-of-mouth marketing at its most powerful. People are finding out that vision statements, mission statements, corporate charters ? they just don't inspire people. A story, on the other hand, helps create a community or family.
Jim Randall
What does the truth matter? Haven't we mothers all given our sons a taste for lies, lies which from the cradle upwards lull them, reassure them, send them to sleep: lies as soft and warm as a breast!
Georges Bernanos

Sandhed
I think it's time for the people and the press, in particular, to be more vigilant about not giving equal weight to lies as they give the truth.
Joe Wilson
