I thought we possessed the ball pretty well in the first half. But anytime you get two city rivals together, it's going to be tough and it's going to be back and forth.

Anytime you hold a team to seven second-half points, you've got to be pretty happy as a coach. When we fell behind in the first quarter, we had to go back to what wins ball games for us, and that's our defense.

I thought we did start off very well and did some nice things in the early half. I know we possessed the ball well but when we got in the final third we were not as dangerous as we needed to be.

It gave us a cushion after they had gained some momentum early in the second half. They've become one of our biggest rivals. It's a tough time to play (3:30 p.m. start) and we were away from home, but I thought we did well.

I think there was a lack of motivation in the first half. It was a long weekend and after not scoring in the first half they got a little down. They settled down in the second half. We didn't have many dangerous chances but we possessed the ball better.

Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

It's hard to be positive when you tie. Like they say, a tie is like kissing your sister. But we did tie a team that's pretty good, and a team that I thought out-possessed us in the second half.

Offensively, in the first half, I thought we played all right. Also, we just couldn't control Quincy. Second half, I thought we spread the ball out pretty well.

We were having trouble with the transition, but we cleaned it up at the half. I really think we came out in the second half and did the same thing we were doing in the first. We just started finishing, and we possessed the ball a lot better.

The South Park coach made a classy gesture by presenting the game ball to our starting pitcher and then she went home and had the ball cut in half and gave the other half to April, which I thought was pretty cool.

I thought we did a pretty good job defensively in the beginning of the game. But we turned the ball over in key times. First half rebounding killed us, but we fought back.

Every year, [the Yankees are] going to have a pretty potent lineup, ... and I think I've run into them on a lot of days where I haven't been throwing the ball very well. I thought we did a good job in the first half of staying with them, making plays when we had to make plays and defending pretty well. I thought in the second half we turned the ball over too much early and that led to baskets.

We had a week off and I thought we played all right. I thought in the second half we had the ball more in their zone and they had it in ours in the first half because of the wind, but it was such a tight game. I figured at the beginning it would be a one-goal game and it was. We have a lot of new faces in there but we did pretty well.

Sometimes we shot the ball pretty well, and sometimes we didn't. We got in a deep hole, and it's hard to come out of it. They dominated the boards in the first half, and al-ways seemed to have an answer when we came back and got closer. When you get the open shots and can't make them, it's tough to win.
