We were having trouble with the transition, but we cleaned it up at the half. I really think we came out in the second half and did the same thing we were doing in the first. We just started finishing, and we possessed the ball a lot better.

I think there was a lack of motivation in the first half. It was a long weekend and after not scoring in the first half they got a little down. They settled down in the second half. We didn't have many dangerous chances but we possessed the ball better.

That's been a problem for us. We have trouble finishing. We were bad in the first half, better in the second half, but we're going to have to make some decisions on who is in and who is out (of the lineup).

I think that when my kids are pushing the ball in transition we are at our best. We started doing that a lot more in the second half and we converted.

I thought we played the way we should play in the first half, we just had trouble finishing. The second half, it kind of deteriorated into a dump-it-in kind of game. At some point, I realized I wasn't going to get my best performance.

It would call it 50 percent them, 50 percent us in the first half. The only thing that we noticed in the second half is that we started controlling the ball more.

I think it started with our defense and getting open shots. We shared the ball well and when you start off well in transition the half-court becomes easier.

I think we struggled in the first half. I'm not sure if we were ready to show up; maybe had a little Spring Break issue going on. In the second half we showed up to play. We picked it up, we started going to the ball better, we started following our passes, and we got one in the goal.

Ultimately, it comes down to a half-court game. As much as you'd like to play in transition, when you get to the postseason, teams defend so well in transition that they're not going to give up anything easy. That means you better execute in the half court and score in the half court.

Our number one thing was capitalizing on turnovers, but then we would turn the ball back over. In the second half, we were finishing plays. They did what we asked them to do.

We started shooting the ball a little better in the second half. We got (UND center Evan) Lindahl in foul trouble so they had to sit him for a little bit.

We stood around too much in the first half and Lourdes did a good job of collapsing their defense and clogging the middle. They also hurt us with some transition baskets. We were going to have to move the ball better in the second half.

Defensively we started to zero in on guys (in the second half). We just had to do a better job of (identifying) shooters. Offensively, in the second half we got our act together and started moving the ball. More guys started scoring and that made a big difference.

Yeah, we were in foul trouble and turning the ball over too much (11 first-half turnovers), but we were only down two at the half.
