We just can't continue ordsprog

en We just can't continue to turn the ball over at the rate that we are and have any hope of competing against the better teams in our league. We will also have to tackle and block much better in the weeks to come.

en We weren't quite good enough. We didn't block well enough or tackle well enough and that was the difference in the ball game. A little block here, a little tackle there.

en It's always tough to come back after four weeks of not training and then going and competing all out. I was really pleased overall with both teams and especially for those individuals who had their success due to working out over break. I am confident that performances will continue to improve.

en You can't. But I know this: Joe's teams block and tackle.
  Bobby Bowden

en It's like a football team that doesn't know how to block and tackle. It doesn't make much sense to spend time learning plays if they can't block and tackle.

en That chemistry can come into it. If you know one guy is there to make the tackle, then you can say, 'I know my buddy's got the tackle, now I can try to strip the ball out.' That does go hand in hand, and the turnovers will come. I don't know when they're going to come, but if we continue to fly to the ball and hit people, we're going to get them.
