I think we woke up and started running after the ball. Watsonville played a great first half, we played a great second half, and ours was just a little bit better.

We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

They knocked us around. They put a lot of pressure on. They played us in our half. It's very hard to start running the ball from your own half.

We felt in the second half, the kids played well and ran the offense. We wanted to be patient and get the ball in on some low blocks, and the high posts got the ball in and we finished some.

Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. They did a good job with their pressure defense. We couldn't get into much in the second half. I've got to give them credit for that. But we played hard and I think it was hard for them to score as well. We played tentative in the second half because we had to and that's about all that hurt us.

We played a strong game today, but we just couldn't get the ball in the cage. Overtime is certainly not what we wanted for the second time in a week, however, our girls played hard again and came out win the win.
