I just saw the ball really well today. I wanted to really win this match and I wasn't going to lose it and I think it showed out there as well.

I wasn't happy we lost. But we played a good clean game and hit the ball better than it showed. If we play like we did today, we're going to win some ball games.

Sometimes you feel you've done something wrong and deserve to lose the match. That wasn't the case today. He just went for broke,

The girls showed they wanted to win, they had to be at their best to (win) this. There wasn't a kid that didn't do it today.

It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.

I had been longing for revenge for the match last year. I showed deep concentration and a lot of rigor in today's match, and some calm.

Hortonville showed us the danger of a No. 7 seed coming into your place with nothing to lose and just tossing up the ball and having shots go in. Offensively we got what we wanted, but overall we didn't execute well. We're going to need to show a lot more urgency from the start or it will be all over in a hurry.

We wanted it more. We train all year, and it showed at the end. Our legs were fresher. We were not going to lose this game. We were not going to lose. We said that all day.

I wanted to come out today and get the run game going. I found out before the game that Davis wasn't able to play and I wanted to be able to go out and run the ball like we had been. I made some good plays and had some that I could have done better on.
