en Equity for District residents wasn't built in a day. We've been working on it for 100 years, and we're still not there. But we won't give up.

en This is something we've been working for the past three years. We've gotten beat on a buzzer-beater the last two years (50-49 loss to Johnstown in a Division III district final two years ago, 54-53 loss to Bloom-Carroll in a Division III district final last year), so we're working hard to make sure that doesn't happen again.

en Now, large subdivisions are being built. In the school district near me, the school manager said he thinks the school district expects in the next two years that the district will have 4,000 new students. That didn't happen 50 years ago, you didn't even get 200 new students then.

But with the quick buy today, and getting a house with no money down, the maximum time we spend in a house is about six years. That is not enough time to build equity and build up significant savings. When you create equity, you create savings.

en We were told that the district would share with the city. That is part of the reason that many residents supported it. That just wasn't how it turned out.

en I think it's an outrage. The equity of athletic competition is there in this league and we've built up working relationships with South and Sheldon and good traditions.

en Developers are using the Bank's AHP funding to find new ways to create a range of housing -- from condos to multifamily rentals -- that are affordable to the District's first-time homeowners, working families, and other residents.

en Many people in my district and throughout the city of San Diego have strong connections to these individuals in the South. Many of the residents of the 4th District are from Alabama, Mississippi, New Orleans.

en The defense of the value of industrial property within the school district is necessary to assure that these industries contribute to the cost of providing education and other services to the residents of the district.

en It might not sound like a great deal, but given that the district has been built out for a number of years, it's a pretty nice pace.

en We've been working in Downtown for over 35 years. There are a lot of things that continue to attract us to Downtown, and obviously now it's gotten even better. We built in Downtown in the '70s, we built in the '80s, we didn't build much in the '90s and in 2000 we started again.
