We were told that ordsprog
We were told that the district would share with the city. That is part of the reason that many residents supported it. That just wasn't how it turned out.
Dale Swanson
City Hall thought there wasn't (a lot of) development in that district, while there were many residents there.
Moises Camacho
Many people in my district and throughout the city of San Diego have strong connections to these individuals in the South. Many of the residents of the 4th District are from Alabama, Mississippi, New Orleans.
Tony Young
I think the people here in New York appreciated what I brought to the table, and they showed it when I retired by the way they came out and supported me, and it meant a lot to me. It made me feel like I am a part of this city, and I will remain a part of this city.

This is something the board has been supporting and I have been working on. It's a method for the two groups to share concerns about city living, share information on how to live side-by-side and build respect between students and residents.
Chris Allen
While Florida has improved its status on this report card, the state has much to do to share economic success among its residents and provide a higher quality of life. Florida is allocating few resources to prepare its residents to be part of the future work force. Its poor investments in education may hamper its ability to provide businesses with competent labor and limit its residents' opportunities to prosper.
David Buchholz
Instead of taking a side tour through part of the warehouse district, the first mile went straight down Summit and turned left onto the [Anthony Wayne] bridge. That's when they're fresh, that's when they've got a lot of energy, so that's one reason why they ran so fast. But the real tribute goes to Mother Nature for giving us such a perfect runners' day.
Ed O'Reilly
Equity for District residents wasn't built in a day. We've been working on it for 100 years, and we're still not there. But we won't give up.

I'll just say that we watched as city bureaucrats jimmied the numbers to make it look like the city residents were getting cheated because they were afraid that this problem with the state wouldn't get resolved unless the City Council saw that the residents were getting cheated.
David McKinley
It's a place we use as a frontline to communicate with our residents. Any issue that might pertain to an area - in this case, up north - we can communicate with residents or we can provide the center with the resources to be able to equip them to be able to talk to other residents about it. It's a place where they can drop in. Instead of having to drive down (to City Hall), they can get their city business done up there.

For some reason, when I turned 30 I became a teenager again and it wasn't really by my own will, it just happened. I married and had my first baby at 21, so I had it together early on. But I started acting about 15 again when I turned 30. So I guess that makes me 19 now.

We told him that people in his city supported the idea of stopping the torture, but he told us he didn't give a damn, You support torture and do you go to church on Sunday?
Casey Davis
He wasn't the reason why it happened. He was a part of it. I was a part of it. Stephen Jackson was a part of it. The fans were a part of it. And in all actuality, Ben Wallace was almost a bigger part of it.
Jermaine O'Neal
I thought we were told when the students move into the new building there would not be a need for as many principals. I hope district residents will not see this as an issue when you're asking for money in May.
Brad Bauer
We need to ask the residents what they are in need of and fill that need. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. For too long the residents have not had a say in their city's development. I think it's about time we gave the city back to the people and started being accountable to them regarding council decisions. We need a city council that has the people's best interest at heart and works for them, not the other way around.
