He hurt his shoulder about six weeks ago and he hasn't played any matches since then, so we thought it was best to match condition him tonight, but he'll be no doubt available for selection next week.

It's tough sometimes to play four weeks in a row and still to come out on top, ... I've played a lot of matches the last few weeks and I felt this whole week was a success. I won in straight sets every match, and it's not always easy to win when you're expected to win. I felt I handled that very well this week.

I thought Brad Hoehner played an extremely good match at No. 1; played one of his better matches of the year. And I thought Jacob Schwartz played very well at No. 2 to win.

We have another weekend of matches against really good opponents. Arizona State is a very good Pac Ten team. They have already played a very tough schedule and are no doubt ready. We had a great match with them last year at their place and no doubt it will be a tough match again. We are ready to play so it should be exciting.

They had a great match tonight. They played hard tonight and yes it was an excellent way for the seniors to go out. Hopefully, we can keep playing well and maybe play some more matches at home.

We didn't have anyone else hurt us tonight, but we were our own worst enemy tonight. I thought we played scared tonight. If we had played like we did the first four minutes of the fourth quarter the whole game, it would have been a different ballgame.

The last matches had hurt our self-confidence, you could see that. We were nervous at first. But the 1-0 freed us up and I think we played a pretty good match after that.

I want to have a match here so that I don't go into the Australian Open without having played a match for a week and a half, two weeks almost.

I thought we had a lackluster performance. I kind of thought we might be flat tonight after playing so many tough matches in a row. I expect us to rebound and get ready for Friday's match at Plano East.

My shoulder is going to be this way for the rest of this tournament. If the match is long, it does hurt a little bit. But for the moment, it doesn't hurt.

Sami last week had a collision with one of our players when they were fooling around. He hurt his shoulder and had an MRI performed on him yesterday. The results were that he's got a slap tear, they call that, and a partial thickness tear of his rotator cuff. He'll have surgery early next week, and will miss approximately 10 weeks from the date of surgery.

I hope it's a maturation process for us, but without a doubt this was the best we've played this season. We played better last week, but tonight we stepped it up more. We just need to keep that going.

The injuries hurt us big time, but I felt we played very well in the first two matches. No one let the injuries get to them and I was happy with how everyone competed in each match. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.
