I think watching him (Peter) win was as exciting as watching the Red Sox win the World Series. He has the engine and strength to accomplish whatever his brain wishes to do. It's not easy to do what he does, but he can do it all out there.

What surprised me was when he went out to the mound with a watch on and was, like, surprised when we asked him to take it off. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship.

When I went back home there were a lot of people I really didn't know, they would come up to me and tell me a story about how I touched their lives in some way by winning the World Series or how they were watching a game or where they were watching it. To me, I like that stuff. It's neat to hear people's stories and I had a lot of fun with it.
