I think there's a whole lot of tech stocks that make sense. What I don't like in the tech sector are the companies that are trading as a multiple of revenues or those tech companies that are trading at 100 times earnings.

Typically, if rates increase, basically if we get the sense that we're more near the end of the rate increases than the beginning of the rate increases, that would certainly be a positive for our sector. Retail stocks are basically early cycle stocks. It's been a sector with mixed results. If you have a tech fund manager who is a good stock picker, and who has proven to be good at picking out values when they're there, and also being able to see growth as it starts to happen, investors could be well off.

I don't plan on making money in tech through M&A. Investors should look for tech stocks with good valuations and good organic growth.

A lot of value-type stocks are finally getting recognized. Maybe there's some profit-taking in the high-tech sector, and investors are looking for safe bargains.

I think we have to get through this period that we're in right now. Companies that don't prerelease will make the numbers. Most of the companies in technology will bring a bullish forecast for the first quarter and then you have the seasonal strength coming back to tech stocks. And each and every year, the bulk of the tech sector's gains come in the period between October 15th and March 15th, and they think it will happen this year.
