en I think my expectation is too high. That gets me in trouble a lot of times. I'm hitting good shots to 15 feet, and I'm not happy with it. I should take it and go and play the next hole.

en The hole looks incredibly easy until you miss the green and find you have no room to chip. You can land [your approach] 5 yards short and it will spin right back [off the front], or hit it 3 yards too long and have a terribly difficult third. Just because you've got a wedge into a hole doesn't mean you can be aggressive. There are times when hitting it to 20 feet can be a very good shot.

en We got some good shots, but we just had trouble hitting them. We had trouble rebounding on both ends. We played hard, kept battling and ended up getting beat by two points. We know as a team that we have to play better.

en I needed it, ... I didn't make anything until a 13-footer at No. 9, then threw that away with a three-putt at the 10th where I missed the hole from 2 feet. Then I birdied 13 and 15 but missed from 8 feet after hitting a great bunker shot at 16. It was disappointing to keep giving shots right back.

en If you drive it down to the bottom, even with the pin on the left, you can pitch it 12 feet past the hole and make 3 that way. Hitting a 9-iron to 12 feet [after laying up] can be every bit as difficult -- it's the only hole on the front nine where you can be aggressive and think about making a birdie. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

en I'm hitting a lot of good shots and getting lots of good opportunities. When you give yourself enough chances, you're going to play well out here. It's a bonus knocking one in from the fairway on your first hole and getting off to a good start.

en You look at the start of this year; he hasn't driven it great, yet he still comes out winning. His short game and his iron play is phenomenal. If you followed these nine holes, you know how good it was. He was hitting it inside 10 feet every hole. That's good playing. This was the best I've seen him hit the driver, too.

en He hit some tough shots. He was taking the ball to the hole, hitting midrange shots. He just played a good all-around game.

en It's always more meaningful to do it whenever you have to. I had no choice. I had to hit the ball in play to give myself chances because I was behind. On the back nine, hitting the shots like I did off the tees, it felt just as good as hitting those last two shots at Augusta, when I absolutely had to.

en He didn't have any crazy shots. There were no chip-ins. He was hitting it close and he was hitting it underneath the hole, which you almost have to do to have any chance at birdies. It was really just a great, solid ball-hitting round.

en I was very happy, especially with this game. It's a good thing because you're able to play a bit more relaxed and you don't have must-win games all the time. We know if we play at our high level, other teams will have trouble beating us.

en I have been playing quite well and I am feeling good and now I have a big flu. So I don't know what's going to happen. But the way I am hitting the ball I feel very happy and under no pressure. You always want to play well as a past winner and you remember the shots you hit before and try to repeat history.

en My game felt very solid today. It was a bad break kind of day for me. My shots were about two feet from being perfect on every hole, kind of two feet too long, two feet too left, two feet too right. My game still feels very solid right now and I'm ready for tomorrow.
