I have been playing quite well and I am feeling good and now I have a big flu. So I don't know what's going to happen. But the way I am hitting the ball I feel very happy and under no pressure. You always want to play well as a past winner and you remember the shots you hit before and try to repeat history.

I feel like I'm a little bit restricted, especially with the serve. I feel like I'm just using my arm out there. I feel like I'm not really doing too much with my movement. But overall I feel like I'm hitting the ball well. I'm hitting the ball clean, I'm seeing the ball well. That's why it's even more frustrating because just imagine if I would be feeling fine. It would be a great feeling to have, just playing well and not having too many other things going on.

We got some clutch hitting in this one. It was good to see us put the ball in play and make things happen with two outs. We've been striking out some early on and now we're getting the ball in play and putting pressure on the defense.

Somebody is always going to play good. The guys that complain are guys like me who aren't playing well, or not scoring well. You feel like you're hitting good shots and not getting rewarded. Right now, I feel like I'm not a good player. I shouldn't feel that way.

It's always more meaningful to do it whenever you have to. I had no choice. I had to hit the ball in play to give myself chances because I was behind. On the back nine, hitting the shots like I did off the tees, it felt just as good as hitting those last two shots at Augusta, when I absolutely had to.

Tremendous ball pressure, good denial. It's just a great tradition up there. It hurt us. Then it seemed like when we got past that wave of pressure we turned the ball over. We had more turnovers than shots in the first half.

It's a good feeling. If I was hitting .230 right now but felt like I was hitting the ball hard, I would still feel OK. I got off to such a slow start last year ... this is nice.

If I can just keep playing steady and build on the momentum, anything can happen. I'm hitting enough quality shots. I feel confident.

I was happy with the way I started out the match, ... I was really playing well. I knew what I needed to do against her. She's a dangerous player if you let her play. The key for me today was hitting the ball hard, being aggressive, hitting it deep.

We're hitting the ball real good right now. We're hitting it in play, we're hitting it hard and when you do that something good is going to happen.

We're going to play a lot of very good baseball teams in league play. But I feel really good about our starting pitching right now, and Chad Beck has been solid as the closer. We're not where we need to be hitting the ball right now, but that will come. I think we'll be a good hitting team before it's over. I'm not playing at my best, I don't feel the ball well. I have a new coach and he's changing things in my game, so the shots feel so insecure at the moment. My first (match) with him I lost in Toronto and now here. And before that I was not playing bad. Since I started with the coach, I'm not feeling so confident.

We can't pinpoint the problem - we're just not knocking down shots. We're getting good shots and not hitting them. We're turning the ball over. That's not the way we play.

There will be no excuse for not playing rugby on a pitch as good as this one. Given the playing surface at the Recreation Ground, I am not sure whether there is greater pressure on us playing at home or away. We have a good record against French teams in the Heineken Cup, but the past is no guide to what will happen on Saturday. We are aware of the challenge which faces us.

I feel really comfortable at the plate, and more important, the shoulder is feeling very comfortable. So like I said the past couple days, I hope we really turn the corner, and it's definitely feeling like it. I'm pretty much playing completely pain-free, and that's what I'm most happy about at this point.
