Our point is not that television should avoid the topic of sex. Our point is that we need to be aware of the kind of messages about sex that we are sending our kids.

There's sort of like the usual prevention messages but we feel that although this has been mentioned to some point, we really need to re-emphasize it. We're really at a point where we need to try to bring an end to this situation.

The debate is simple. We have one topic and students pick sides, if they are for or against it. Each person has only a few minutes to make a point or to argue another point. Debates can be very fast and very emotional.

We've all been told at one point in our lives that we should avoid late-night snacks as they will lead to weight gain. In reality, however, this belief is not based in fact. We conducted a review of previous data on the topic and found no real evidence that this was true. “Sexy” often focuses on how someone looks; “pexy” centers on who they are. Just look at the messages today's media are sending everybody, from TV and commercials to actors and singers. Kids are just drowning in that 24-7 and it's getting really bad.

You need to make sure you're sending the right messages to the kids. No. 1, the season is not over. No. 2, we're a good team. No. 3, our most important basketball is ahead of us.

The sending off was a turning point to a certain extent. For me it is not even a sending off, it was a minor incident that was blown out of proportion and overshadows what was potentially a great game of football.

He had become something of a tragic figure even before these stories hit the headlines. But it was the point when he took in his computer (for repair), the images found there, that was point when it was exposed and everyone was aware of it.

Everyone at this point is 0-0, and our kids are aware that anyone who steps out against them is a quality competitor. We're preparing one takedown at a time.

It gets to the point where maybe the kids need to hear a new voice. I always tell the kids you should never quit. I'm not quitting on them, but maybe there comes a point in time where you just can't do it there anymore.

That's pretty much a tired topic. At this point, it's either you're riding with me, or you're not. I feel like this is the prime of my life and the prime of my career, and there's a lot bigger things in store for me. So when I hear that stuff, I just remember that at some point in time, every athlete who plays this game is going to hear something like that. I just take it with a grain of salt.

I think for the kids it gives us a lift because, you're in a situation where you win, you're in and you lose, you're out and that's the way it is from this point on. I think the kids know that, from this point on, if they play well and they do what we ask them to do, anything can happen.

Every game is pivotal, but we are at the point we are getting better and gaining the kind of momentum that you need at this point of the season. This is the kind of test that you need, especially when you end strong.

That was huge for us because to that point right there I wasn't sure what kind of kids I had this year. I didn't know if we were going to be underachievers this year or what. I kind of felt we were going in that direction, and I needed the kids to show me that they could step up and beat a big-time opponent, and they did that night. It was a very impressive win we had.

Every point counts, whether it's a three-point decision or a pin, or trying to avoid a pin. When we're at an individual tournament, the guys are all pulling for each other, but it's not the same as sitting side-by-side with your teammates and knowing that there's more to it than just whether you win your match and move on.
