Everyone at this point is 0-0, and our kids are aware that anyone who steps out against them is a quality competitor. We're preparing one takedown at a time.

The thing with Pugh is you're always in the match. Every time he lets you up you get a point, a takedown is only worth two, so he's only getting one point every time. I knew to not get frustrated if I got down in points.

We're getting to a point now where when we get to our scouting team, it's a full-speed picture. We might not spend a lot of time preparing specifically for an opponent, but the time we do spend has been of good quality.

It's the same thing every time almost. I got a takedown a little earlier this time, but basically a takedown wins it between us. I was close to a couple more, but he's good at defending stuff. He fought it off and it was close at the end. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. It's the same thing every time almost. Needless to say it has been an exciting last couple of weeks. We have played five quality opponents in this tournament starting in the sectionals and it has just seemed that on any given night one key person steps up and has given us the quality effort that gets us through to the next game. These kids are thoroughly enjoying this experience, but they aren't satisfied. They know we still have some work to do.

Some people had counted us out because of the recent situation here, and I think our kids responded. We came within one takedown of winning the whole tournament. We had six guys in the finals, and I think that certainly made a statement. We ask our kids to do their best and I certainly feel our kids gave that today.

How safe is your family? If people are aware of potential predators living near them, they'll take steps to make sure their kids are protected.

Our point is not that television should avoid the topic of sex. Our point is that we need to be aware of the kind of messages about sex that we are sending our kids.

It's a good day anytime a No. 4 guy beats a No. 2 one. That was a good win for him. He got a little confidence on his feet and got the takedown. I teased him this was the first time in his life he's ever taken feet as a choice, and he got the takedown.

I had so much confidence in Kevin, and he is such a competitor once he steps on that field. If he'd had 190 pitches, he wouldn't have come out of the game because he was determined to get it. He held them at bay for a long time.

We've been looking at doing this for long time. We've been preparing for this. We have a lot of passion for this. We want to help other people improve the quality of their lives.

The point is to demonstrate what a day without us would be like. Without us buying clothes, without us purchasing gasoline, without us buying food. . . . We have taken many steps forward, now is not the time to take steps back.

Teams are funny. Sometimes you take two steps forward and take a step back. And you take four steps ahead and two steps back. I am trying to get to the point where we are not taking any steps back in any area.

We're going into this game thinking worst-case scenario that Christen doesn't play. We go into the week like every week preparing our kids the best we can for whoever is on the field. I'd like to think that we're not a one-man team. There are a lot of people out there who do think that Hilliard Davidson will go as Christen Haywood goes, but our kids have a lot of pride and they'll do a good job in preparing themselves no matter who's playing.

I know what to expect this time around. It's a great experience the first time you get down there, and it helps when you are preparing kids who have never been there before.
