We feel good about ordsprog

We feel good about the way the season ended. I've made my feelings known to our principal. We won't practice Monday.

I feel very fortunate for everything I've had. I worked hard to get it. I feel I earned it. I just wish it would have ended a little differently. I don't have any negative feelings about it at all at this point.

I was anxious to watch him practice (on Monday) to see whether he was going to pout or what was going to happen, and he had a heck of a good day, ... I feel good about Scott ...

I think we still want to finish strong. We had a good practice (Monday). We've competed well all season, and I expect it will be the same (tonight) against Midland High.

Physically, I feel fine. I just don't feel so good at the plate. I know people try to translate that to the end of the season, but I don't think that's it at all. I feel I've made it through this season, physically, as well as any season I've played.

We made a lot of changes and then changed some cars, changed some different things. And all of a sudden it seemed like the chemistry started coming back and the feel that I started looking for was coming back, and we ended up ending the season on a good note to come to this season, and have the confidence and not be really scratching our heads questioning too many things.

I said Tuesday that if the season ended then, I thought we'd be in. I feel that same way tonight. This was a good win to put on our resume.

I was definitely in too much pain for most of the season and not feeling the way I want to feel. Just to feel good enough to practice and play the game is something I guess I've taken for granted a little bit.

Against the good teams, we come out slow most of the time and they kept us from running. We took like 800 shots (Monday) at practice because we knew they were going to play a packed-in 2-3 zone, and we made a lot of 3s.

It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

Listen to your feelings. If you don't feel good about it, really pay attention to those feelings. (Don't) take any risks. ... Just make wise decisions as to where you're going or what areas you're going to walk into.

I set a simple goal for this season, just to come to practice every single day. It kind of sounds funny but I feel like when I'm out there practicing and getting better every single day, the games will take care of themselves. If I can practice every day, that means I am staying healthy and good things will happen for me.

When I first got here, I think I was a little overwhelmed for the first couple of weeks. But for me, it was just a matter of being comfortable and learning the whole surroundings. It all comes down to practice. I mean, if you feel good in practice, you're going to feel good in the game.

It's stuff we practice all spring. And when we're out there doing it, we're like, 'Well, is this ever going to happen during the season?' Sure enough, we executed it well (Monday).
