I take a lot ordsprog

en I take a lot of pride to see where the program is now. That first year was hell. Just playing each other and not having a game. Our practice field was just dirt. Now we?re in the Big East Conference.

en In this conference, if you finish in a grinding, 16-game schedule at the top of the conference, you're a hell of a program.

en A lot of it's about pride. A lot of us have pride. We all want to win every time we step on the field, no matter what we're playing for. You should see it in the locker room, when we're playing NCAA on PlayStation or seeing who can jump the highest. ... My last game, I want to win.

en We're excited about going into conference. Our non-conference schedule was a tough one, and that's good. We wanted to get better for conference, and playing tough teams like St. Cloud will certainly make us better. Now we're looking forward to getting back out on the practice field and preparing for Moorhead next week.

en This was an unbelievable conference win. This is a special night in the program's history. We beat a premier program in our first game in the Big East.

en The guys take more pride in this game, take pride in going out and working hard at practice and enjoying being around each other. It will be a whole different environment, a whole different game this year. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself.

en We are very happy to welcome the Georgetown field hockey program as a full-time member of the BIG EAST. The Georgetown program will add to an already rich tradition of academic and athletic success in BIG EAST field hockey.

en [Texas coach Mack Brown doesn't seem to share Tressel's and Castiglione's enthusiasm for such matchups. In a conference call with reporters earlier this week, Brown intimated the 'Horns, who scheduled the Ohio State series roughly a decade ago when the program was struggling financially and competitively, might not have made the same choice under the present circumstances.] At places like ours, we're going to fill up our stadium regardless of who we're playing, ... so we'd actually make more money playing another game at home, getting our guys ready for our conference schedule. So I don't see this continuing [beyond next year's game in Austin].

en To get off the field injury free. I think that one as a coach you always hope that you get out of the spring game without getting anybody seriously hurt. Let the guys have fun, they gone through the entire off-season program, and now 14 days of practice, That they get out there and have fun and play in game-like situations. I want to see them compete. I want to see us improve. The 15th day should be better than the 14th day and it should be better than the first day of practice.

en The biggest lesson we learned last year was that we need to be as prepared to compete on the road as well as at home. We have a lot of pride playing on our home field, but we need to carry that same pride as competitors at any facility against any opponent.

en You can also have problems with the wind on that end of the stadium. If it is blowing east to west, it hits the stadium and turns around in your face. The dirt isn't too bad when it is drizzling. When it is wet, you don't know what will happen. Every year is a different set of conditions with the dirt.

en Another huge step for our program is that we will have a rebuilt practice field that matches our game field. This will allow us the opportunity to prepare as a team under the most ideal conditions.

en We are excited about this year's schedule. The N.C. State game gives our fan base a marquee home game in September against a team from the ACC.
