The next couple of ordsprog

The next couple of days were … interesting.

It's always interesting to remember them their first couple days in the gym as wide-eyed freshman, who were really trying to figure out what was going on, what to do. And four or five years later, they're leaders of the team.

We are going to take a couple of days to digest everything before we put out a full statement and decide what to do. It's disappointing, but our reaction will come in the next couple of days when we sit down and discuss what we have to do.

We'll make a tough call here in the next three or four days, ... We have a couple of days to kick the ball on the practice field. We have compiled a lot of statistics and numbers on all their kicks and we'll make that call in the next couple of days.

(Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April. As of right now, it's a couple of days, but there is no specifics. We know it's swollen and we're going to have to wait until the inflammation goes down. But we've been told a couple of days.

Get a couple of days off, get treatment on it and see how everything goes in a couple of days. Hopefully I'll be back in a couple of days.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

We didn't want to burden the series with the 10 most important events. We wanted days that offered interesting storytelling or days where the outcome was unexpected.

But I'm also at a point in my career where I feel I can play a bunch of different places, and I could play every day: a couple days here, a couple days there.

What led me to this (decision) was the tremendous amount of pain that I just couldn't deal with anymore. I played a couple of days in a row. I came out that first game. Then I played a couple days and I got through it. And I was like, 'All right, let's see what's happening here.' I had to come out of the game in Detroit.

It's interesting and challenging. No two days are the same. On some days, there's something new every 15 minutes.

We certainly think that $3 a gallon gasoline will be broached in the next couple of days. Soon after, it could go much higher. The expectation is that we could be seeing $4 gasoline in the next couple of days.

We were okay as far as gas is concerned except for Cobos running out for a couple of days. Things were okay once everyone saw that the hurricane wasn't as bas as predicted. Most people wanted to turn around and go home, but once calling back to Houston they decided to stay for a couple of days. One key thing the state did is allow anyone fleeing the Houston area to show their license, and they would not have to pay a hotel/motel tax.

Miguel played a few days in a row. Josh is going to play a few days in a row. We'll eventually work up to three days in a row. It's hard because we have two catchers that need to play. We'll start stretching them out the last couple of weeks.
