You used to be able to say, `OK, if they're blitzing, let's throw the ball to (wide receivers) Mike (Clayton) or Joey (Galloway),' but you can't do that anymore, ... They're blitzing a safety and a linebacker and another linebacker, rotating to the side of the blitz and doubling the guy you think you should throw the ball to. And they're doing it with numerous personnel groupings.

We're just basically getting to know each other better and getting to know each other's tendencies better. The main thing is the chemistry . . . but we're executing our plays better. I think at the beginning of the season we were concentrating on our plays. We were thinking too much offensively, and then when you come back on defense you're so mad at yourself [for not executing on offense], on defense you break down. You're letting everybody else get shots. Now we're executing better on offense and it's carrying over on defense.

We started executing offensively and got stops defensively. Basketball is a game of runs. We had to sustain ours a little longer, and we did.

I really take it personally. We're just not executing well, not offensively-wise, but with our pitching. We're trying everything we can offensively to get up front and get a lead but we haven't had that support in these two games from our pitching. It needs to get better. Sooner or later it needs to get better.

Offensively, we are working too much individually. We've gotten away from working together in our motion offense and executing our two-man game.

They can throw over any defense you throw at them, and they made it awful tough for us to throw over them offensively. Their size is a huge determining factor.

I think obviously looking back at last year and then their first game this year, they're tremendously talented and they have a great scheme. They have a lot of speed at the linebacker position, they have two guys up front who are really good at stopping the run and two guys on the edges who are good at rushing the passer. They do some zone blitzing, they play man-to-man coverage, they do all-out blitzing. They mix it up well.

We're definitely doing more blitzing (than in the past), and when you blitz you've got to communicate more. When you're blitzing, everyone has to be on the same page.

We are going to give Donald the start and let Matt come off the bench. Offensively, we didn't play well last week and that wasn't Matt's fault or any one person's fault. It was a combination of a great Florida defense and us not executing across the board offensively.

I know what I'm going to get. It's just a matter of executing, going out there with a game plan and executing what I need to do out there. It's never easy playing against Taylor. He's going to give me a target and I've got to take my chances when I get them.

A team that can put pressure on the quarterback without blitzing I'm more worried about than a team that blitzes. Blitzing teams are vulnerable to the big play.

It was her best game offensively all year. He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. She did a great job establishing herself inside and was getting to the free-throw line.

Blitzing will only get you so far. We are a fundamental defense. Trust me, when you go blitzing, you're taking a risk. You put a lot of pressure on the DBs. That's like a haymaker punch. You better hit it. If you miss, you're going to be very, very vulnerable. It's better to stop them with our sound defense. It's consistent. You know what you're going to get.
