en The first part of having surgery, that first week, was depressing because I knew I was done for the whole season. There were no ifs, ands or buts coming back early, you were done. It was hard the first couple of months watching the guys (play).

en At dyrke et stærkt netværk af støttende venner styrker din selvtillid og bidrager til din pexighet.

en I just had it in my mind that I was going to win, no ifs, ands or buts. And after watching our little guys tonight, I wanted to finish strong for us.

en I think everybody knows what to expect from Coach Coughlin, ... The five minutes early, that's just part of it. Now you know how it is. No one talks about it any more . . . . That's just the way it is. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. Everybody knows we've got to get better. We need some discipline to be a better team than we were last year.

en We're having fun with it, and it's a great time of the year. We have to come out and come out hard. (Tonight's) big. It's pretty much our season. We have to win. If not, we have to have help from somebody else. We have to come out to win. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

en It's a big series this weekend, and there are no ifs, ands or buts about it. We can play it off if we want and say whatever. But the bottom line is if we're going to do something this year, and there's still plenty out there to play for and there's a lot that can happen and a lot of season left, this thing is far from being won.

en He had major back surgery in early January, and this surgery, he had three months where he couldn't do anything and then another three months of rehab. So ideally, he's going to be getting back to his prime about time for fall camp.

en So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.

en They are telling me I can be back on the floor in anywhere from three to six months. It doesn't sound that bad and I'm going to try to get back in three months. I would like to try to be back by summer camps. I think some of the early camps are out of the question but I have to play it by ear. Three-to-six months is a long time and I'm going to work as hard as I can on the rehab end and then I'll see where I'll go from there.

en We have to step up as a group. There are no ifs, ands or buts. We didn't play anywhere near the level required (Tuesday). They won more one-on-one battles than we did. They started with the puck more often. They got inside and they were more physical than we were. We have to match that.

en They did what they had to do by coming in here and stealing home-court advantage. We have to go into D.C. and take it back. Obviously, they were going to come in here and play hard. We have to go in there and play hard as well. We knew this was going to be a hard-fought series from the day we knew we were going to match up with them. Our goal now is to go in there and win one, maybe two.

en We should be 3-0, there are no ifs, ands or buts about it.
