It's still the same festival; we've just added vendors, more Israeli foods, products from Israel. We wanted to make the event the whole community.

I do this because I love Israel and because Russian community in Chicago often is not aware about all the achievements the country has made in its short existence. I really love to talk about anything somehow connected to Israel – from music to sports, from Israeli educational system to Israeli history, from Israeli daily life to its holiday celebrations.

We don't charge our vendors when they come to town, though. We sort of feel like it would be wrong. That tax is for our community, true, but we've been working with these vendors for years with this festival. We probably should, but, you know, we just won't put that tax on them.

Though it was a significant Israeli-Pakistani event, ... it's a larger event, the sort of phenomenon we'll see increasing, of people in the Muslim world who want to engage with Israel and see that's the way toward peace.

We have added several new departments to the Country Store. We have added a fresh meat counter, wine department, prepared foods section, Seattle's Best Coffee and an expanded gourmet foods section. We are very excited about all of the new changes.

We have a new committee for the Bristol Homecoming Festival, and this was our first year to organize it. All things considered, there seemed to be a lot of new life breathed into the event. The Bristol Homecoming Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Indiana, dating back to 1881. These are the kind of events we need to be successful at to help our hometown thrive. We need good ideas, the ability to communicate this to our neighbors, and community involvement to make this happened, which is one reason to network with business leaders in our town.

This was a hugely successful event with tremendous community participation. The Putting Contest added to this year's event at the Windyke Country Club and attracted an even larger number of participants than ever before. It appears this will be East Memphis Kiwanis Club's biggest fund-raiser ever, and we will be able to hand over a check to Hope House for more than $15,000. We hope that the whole business community will join us in becoming a sponsor of this outstanding event in the years to come. The business model associated with what we do with blade network technologies has to be very closely aligned with how server vendors operate, how they get products and how those products are supported. That is very different to how networking vendors operate.

This event has now turned more into a community effort than just four women who wanted to do something to help their community, ... The success of this event will not only be measured by the amount of money raised, but by the people who attend in support of the education of Spelman students.

I asked someone what one of the most important elements of a film festival is, and he immediately said the event's destination. Because Delray is a great city with beautiful weather and ideally located, I felt that a film festival would make a nice fit.

We want it become an event that the community will look forward to. It could become another festival that will bring a lot of people to Orangeburg.

The risk for Vietnam if it opens its borders to trade but does not upgrade technically to make value-added products, it becomes an assembly factory and producer of raw materials for China. You have to remember how poor Vietnam actually is. I'd be worried over the long term whether it can achieve an increase in value-added products the way that Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea did. It does not yet have the policy tools to provide a national program of technology upgrading.

Local talent is very important to the festival. We wanted to feature local talent with national acts. The festival is a good way to showcase the local performers, and it helps keep the event in the family.
