I don't know I ordsprog

en I don't know, I haven't really thought about it. I don't even know how big of an audience that is. Yeah, I think we all really like playing to small audiences. It's hard to kind of get a feel for what people are thinking when you can't really see them.

en There's an intimacy lost on the big audiences, but there's also a sort of cool kind of buzz that you get from it too, like 'Wow -- there are 10,000 people here.' It tends to be a little more high energy, and you try to capture as many people as you can; whereas with a small show, you reveal a little bit more personality. I almost feel like I'm there hanging out with them or something. We mix it up. I do little intimate shows just because if I go a long time without doing them, it gets kind of weird -- like I'm playing at people.

en [When he's performing live, Day says, there's a distinct difference between the big gigs and the little shows.] There's an intimacy lost on the big audiences, but there's also a sort of cool kind of buzz that you get from it too, like 'Wow -- there are 10,000 people here.' en I don't think it hits you when you're in the audience how big a crowd actually is. When we look out at Carnegie Hall, we will feel so small in comparison (to the audience). But then you realize you're there because you worked so hard for it.

en I know there are some people who thought I'd do better (in college). Heck, I thought I'd do better. But the way I look at it, I haven't done so bad and I'm not discouraged. I feel I'm on the right track. Sure, I'd like to win more tournaments, but so would everyone else. It just seems that, college wise, I haven't been able to get over the hump. I'm working hard at it, though.

en The hard thing is, even when you're winning, sometimes I go home and feel kind of upset. Yeah, we won the game, but I feel like I wasn't really a part of it. It's hard when you're just watching, especially when you're a competitor like I am.

en I thought it was a neat thing they did. We had a small remembrance here at school on Friday. In small schools, you know everyone and they're close. I thought it was a really nice gesture on their part. They did it for themselves, but they were thinking of other people.

en We need audiences. Audiences are essential to the students' learning experience -- how to play to an audience and how different they are. Theater is meant to be performed. We are asking (audiences) to come on a journey with us (while) understanding that we are trying to accomplish a great deal.

en (The ballpark?s) playing real small; I guess that?s obvious. There?s some people even thinking the ball might be juiced up this year, too. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. I don?t know about that, but the ballpark is playing small.

en For people to make a lot of money on these things, you're going to have to have massive audiences. Sometimes it might be better to share a piece of a much larger audience than it is to keep 100% of a much smaller audience.

en It's no biggie to me, ... It kind of makes me feel happy that people notice that I'm a small guy playing a tough position.

en I didn't feel very good about how we were playing, but more importantly, I didn't feel good about how we were approaching things. We weren't playing hard and seemed to be living on the fact that people thought we were good instead of showing them in our play. But that loss woke us up, I think.

en Sometimes I'm out on tour and you feel you're really getting somewhere and the audience is building and there's five or six hundred people coming to see you every night just from word-of-mouth. en Every week we have 300 people who line up to see us live. Part of the kick of a sitcom is it is in front of an audience. It is just a small audience every week.
