I was seeing the ball really good that game. After I hit the first two, I got real comfortable and the pitcher threw me a 3-2 fastball inside, and I just turned on it.

It's nice to be in that position, two games up and getting runs early, ... It gives a pitcher a lot of confidence to throw the ball over the plate. I threw a lot of fastballs early. I had a lot of confidence in the fastball tonight. I got to speed up with the fastball and later on threw the curveball. The team put up runs and it all worked out.

He was locating his fastball pretty well. He had a good slider and he didn't walk anybody. That's really important as a pitcher, getting ahead. At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.

I had pretty good sink on my fastball, my cutter was good, my breaking ball was good. I threw some real good change-ups today. I got through that first (inning) and made pretty good pitches all day.

He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. He threw the ball extremely well. He had good velocity on his fastball. He spotted his pitches well. We came out swinging well the whole game.

He was throwing a lot of sliders in fastball counts and was almost effectively wild with his fastball. He got good movement on it, and he's always had a delivery where he hides the ball pretty well. You just don't really get a real good feeling on a certain spot, where he's going to throw the ball.

He was dynamite, he had it all. His fastball, he threw a good breaking-ball, then his change-up. He threw from behind in the count. He's pitching beyond his age, that's for sure.
