We knew he was a great player coming in. In the second half he was taking good shots and playing aggressively.

Dodd was one player who we didn't expect to come out for volleyball, but did. The other transferred to Brookings at the beginning of the summer from South Dakota. Her name is Darci Peterson, she's a junior and she will be a utility player this season. Darci played utility and defensive specialist at her old school. She's an excellent passer, is vocal on the court and is a leader. We were lucky to get a player of her ability.
