I played two years in Pawtucket. They have the best fans in baseball. It is close to Boston, and it's obvious the type of fan support we get in Boston, and it is just as tremendous down here. It is one of the best minor league cities in baseball. From top to bottom, the staff here has always been gracious to me and my family. Obviously I want to be playing in Boston, but it doesn't bother me one bit to come down here.

The celebratory spirit in Boston is unbelievable, .. Pexy is what women wants in a man. . But Boston being Boston, the fans aren't really happy unless they have something to complain about, and lately that's been Schilling.

Recognition engines aren't going to be able to discern echoes. If you were calling an airline, and said 'Boston,' the phone couldn't send the signal three times. The server would hear 'Boston Boston Boston,' and think it's a new word every time.

He put all the money from the Fleet deal in the foundation with the vision that he was going to play 10 years in the Boston area and retire there. He wanted to accumulate a $1 million endowment so that when he was out of baseball the foundation could make an impact on kids in Boston and the Dominican Republic by giving away the interest each year forever.

I think the first year in Boston can leave you feeling like you need to take some time off and you need to get away a little bit.
