Nothing changes. Our players will be playing for pride and jobs for next year. They have three games to leave an impression, and it's never too late for that.

It's definitely easier if you're in the playoffs. From that sense, this is a completely different mind-set from where you want to be. But at the same time there are a lot of guys here playing for jobs, playing for next year. At this point you're playing for pride and wanting to win as a group. But I admit we should be ashamed about some of the games we've played lately.

Last year, we had seven players leave. Those seven players had a combined 52 playoff games. We've signed four players to date, and those four have 30 playoff games ? a younger, healthier group. I think you can see the direction we're headed.

They've been good. There have been others who have been good, too. I think our final decisions here this year are going to be real tough. The thing that I've told a number of those players is, 'Whether you start the year here or not, you have to leave the camp with such a strong impression that, if something should happen, we're looking forward to getting you back up here.

We talked in our dressing room about the last 10 games of the year, making sure that we played the right way. Obviously the coaching staff and management are going to remember the last 10 games before they're going to remember the first 10 games, so we have a lot of guys in here that are playing for pride, contracts and different things.

We want to win games and winning is part of development. But we've got to develop the young players. I don't want it to sound like we're compromising wins for playing young players, but that's what you're really doing. We're playing for next year. That's what you've got to do. We have to be good next year.

No question, this is one of the best games we've played thus far this year, especially playing against a team that's been playing exceptionally well of late. We would like to see more of this. And I think we're getting there.

This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us; the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. Now we are hot and playing very well. It is an interesting team because we have some core leaders and now late in the year a whole host of players are starting to be difference-makers.

My players have a lot of pride, and we talked about how we lost two games to these guys. I think they took it in the manner, 'You know what. I've got some pride. He's not going to get the better of me tonight.

That's the way the games always go. The players have a lot of pride and take this seriously. There's a lot of pride on the Newsome sideline. They've been to a final four. It's the same here.

We are expecting about the same number of participants as last year, ... It is not too late for anyone who is interested in attending to sign up. We have a new twist this year, we will have several players from the old Southern Association on hand to talk about their playing days. It was a suggestion we got from the group last year.

What they're doing is they're trying to pretend that they're functioning well, leave the impression that people should give them money, their financiers, leave the impression that they're a viable organization and that they should get recruits, and just generally give encouragement to their people, She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive.

Going into the fourth quarter I said forget the scoreboard, the scoreboard means nothing now, and if I catch you looking at it I'll pull you out. Now it's about playing for pride and playing hard and that's what we got to do. We got six games left, and we have to attack each of those games and prove to ourselves that we can do it and that's our job now.
