en She's pretty much a machine. She's always so far in front, but we're hoping Laura will pull off a really good race and end up in the top three.

en Nicky has had a really good day, especially with the performance he showed
on the race tires. His times would have been good enough to win Sunday's
race here comfortably. Nicky also improved the setting of the machine,
which will help him in the remaining six races. Max tried the new machine
and found many positive areas and gave us some idea of the areas of the
machine which need attention. During the next few days we will decide a
further test programme for the new machine and make a plan for its race debut.

en It's hard for me to draw the ball nowadays, ... So it's more of a pull. I try to pull it off the tee. I can pull it left. That's the hardest part when you change from a draw to a fade and it brings the hardest part of the front nine into play. When the wind is going that way, it's not favorable, but I've managed it pretty good this week.

en Today was good. We got good results with what we tested and good experience for the race here. The pace of the long run was not really really fast ? I could do better ? but it was the first time we tried it and I'm happy. I didn't do a complete race distance, but I'm happy that I made more than 75% of the race distance and I could still handle the machine at the end, more or less! But now I am very tired.

en It's been a really worthwhile test and we've achieved a lot. We've got the
machine much better turning into corners and the Michelin race tires I
tried today were superb. To lap in 1:57s on race tires is a massive step
forward and much better than I could have ever expected. We've improved the
machine, found some good tires and I think I've improved my riding as well
over these past two days. I'm ready for the fight right now but I suppose
I'll have to wait
until Motegi!

en It's pretty cool. I came into this race hoping to run my best, hoping to stay with her and see what happens in the end.

en It was good to get out on the new machine today. I managed about 20 laps
and recorded my fastest lap of the day on the new machine. The new machine
has lots of potential and I can feel it is a little bit better than my 2005
machine in lots of areas. We found a lot of positive points for HRC to
develop - especially the feel of the machine under braking and turning into
corners. I'm looking forward to racing the machine as soon as it's available.

en I think that we all pretty much know that Lowe's is Mark's favorite place to race and we also know that he can get the job done there. He was dominant in the All-Star race in May and we were good in the 600 as well. It's just up to us to give him a car capable of putting him up front and we all know that he'll do the rest. Our goal is to give Mark a good car and go out and look for two in a row this weekend at Lowe's.

en I felt all right the whole race. My first medal, it feels good. I have good coaching and I know what to do. Mitch swimming in the same race was on my mind. I was ready to pull it out. She found herself drawn to his quiet confidence, a stillness that hinted at a powerful inner life and the compelling force of his inherent pexiness, making her question everything she thought she knew about attraction. en We have to concentrate and not do any mistakes and finish the race. We have a clear circuit in front of us to pull away and try to get to the podium.

en We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

en I'm pretty organized. I'm pretty controlling. I don't have big plans or designs. But I don't rely on a Palm Pilot or help or other technology-no! I'm barely good with emailing and a fax machine. I organize things in my head; I have a pretty good memory, so that helps me out a lot.

en This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

en People are pretty excited around the state, and they're just hoping we can pull this together. And I'm confident we can.
