I always admired churches that start new churches, but I thought I would be the guy who stays put, ... But Grace Community grew beyond my scope, and I needed to be starting something fresh. I heard a call from God. He said it was time.

Many of these individuals and families may well decide to become our neighbors, ... We need to welcome them into our community, our churches and our schools.

What we're able to announce from Sunday is daily radio programming, covering both news and more feature-style material, covering both developments in the EU and Belarus. And for TV, a weekly half-hour program covering the same kind of agenda.

I feel like the city has learned that churches provide a tremendous resource. In time of crisis, what we need is the churches stepping forward. ... I believe the city has learned there are resources in churches that they need to tap into in the future.

The good news is we've been meeting with police for months in preparation of these new schools. We're also engaging the community, because it will take the community to keep those kids safe.

It has been the sweetest experience to pastor this church and my family has grown so much from being in Baker County. The people here are the salt of the earth. Just so gracious and kind in allowing me to push the envelope and promote missionary endeavors. Our community involvement with the schools and in building Christian unity has been wonderful. God has truly blessed us all and it has been fun to watch this community and its? churches grow and prosper. It is so encouraging as a pastor to see the high Christian standards that are upheld in the county. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. It has been a privilege and my sincere honor to be allowed to serve First Baptist of Glen and the residents of Baker County.

On the one hand, this is good news for the community that it was a relatively smaller number than anticipated. Now, the question is, are these jobs only the beginning? Honestly, I was surprised. I thought the number would be in the thousands.

It's impressive. Amity Cares is a diverse group of people ranging from Amity high school students to churches and synagogues to businesses and lots of individuals. It's worked great to bring the community together.

This positive endeavor will benefit our children enrolled in the local schools and provide a safety enhancement for our citizens. We are very excited to be a part of this program and believe it will be a great asset to our community.

Our high schools are critical to the success of our community. Restructuring is critical. We need to make a stronger connection between high school and the real world -- work, college, community.

It's and opportunity to serve the community and meet the physical needs of many, especially the elderly. It is also a time to share our Christianity. We are excited about it. We have had great support from the community and churches.

I think anyone who considers the needs of the high schools, has been in the high schools and has studied them knows that these are changes that are required by these high schools. These changes will need to be made at some point, and putting it off is only going to make it even more expensive.
