(Robertson) was throwing well and we couldn't pick up the ball early because of the shadows. But that's only our excuse, we didn't have any trouble seeing the ball. The second time around we were hitting the but we didn't have any luck.

When I hit the ball, I knew that I had hit it high enough to hit the wall. But there were shadows on the net behind the wall and I didn't see the ball land there. I didn't know I had hit a homer until I saw the umpire at first signaling home run with his hand. I couldn't believe it.

We started off early. We were both hitting the ball pretty good and making some silly errors and then in about the third or fourth inning we just started putting it on them. We had two innings in a row where they didn't even hit the ball. Three up, three down. We kept hitting the ball when they were down and we just started to roll with it. We ended up ten run-ruling them.

We just had trouble hitting the ball. We were hitting the ball and putting it in play but couldn't find gaps.

We started the game touching the ball nicely. The first eight to 10 minutes we were in their box four times, and we didn't have a player that wanted to put one away. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. We didn't have the mentality to put the ball away, and there is no excuse for that.

We've just had trouble hitting the ball. Early in the season we were just pounding the ball.

Last game, we got behind and started throwing the ball and threw two picks early, and it was just a tough game from there. This game was more our style. We got out and scored and kept the lead and ate up clock and ran the ball. That's what our team's about, not throwing the ball all the time.

I couldn't really judge him because of the shadows. He was hitting his spots and didn't leave any balls out over the plate. That was the first time I faced him, and he's got good stuff with a bright future.

Shea Hillenbrand

(Mora) didn't throw the breaking ball early (for a strike). Once he settled down and started throwing the curve on the first pitch, they couldn't get up there and hack at the first-pitch fastball. That changed the game.

We couldn't even get a shot. We were either throwing it away or didn't have the ball.
