We're fairly well down the track of deciding who the customers will be.

When we look at events, we look at them in two ways. There are certain track rental opportunities that have better (profit) margins than others ... so we'll look at those. We also look at things that will bring notoriety to the track. Anything that can brand the speedway is something that's of interest to us. That plays a role when we're deciding who gets preference on certain days.

We don't want our good customers subsidizing our bad customers or those that are more challenged. It's not just one bad move. It's really looking at a customer's portfolio as a whole and deciding what product is right for them at the time. Each one is priced to their own risk and what's going on at the time.

If the track is clean, and the temperatures are low, we will run reasonably strongly, but warm-ups are never a great thing to go on. Never the less, the cars seem to be better balanced this morning and we have more grip, so that suits us. The changes we made were fairly minor and I am sure this has more to do with the track and the tyres working in the cooler conditions.

I plan to devote all of my energy to serving the community well, treating each person who appears before me with dignity and respect and deciding each case fairly and justly.
