I'm not commenting on ordsprog

I'm not commenting on that stupid stuff that happened today. Ask me about my race. If you want to ask me about racing, talk to me about that. If not, don't waste my time.

We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Some of the stuff that's happened to us this year is our own fault and then there's some that's been racing incidents. Sure, I think back and say I'd have done this or that different, but I am a race car driver and I am out there to do just that -- race.

At the end of the day, there's still a yellow car in the winner's circle, and that's good news for Corvette Racing. Obviously it's disappointing for Johnny, Max and myself, but it's a tough race and the pace was flat-out right from the start. That's why Corvette Racing has two cars in the race because you never know if you're going to have a problem. Often it's a 1-2 finish, but not today.

It was a good race, ... That's awesome short track racing right there. They (the fans) got their money's worth today. That's the way the race to the Chase should start, just like that. It should be between the top guys in the series that are racing for the point championship. Ryan did an awesome job and we just couldn't hold him off there at the end.

We passed the second-place car, and then ran away from him [late in the race]. So if you paid real close attention to what happened today -- well, I don't know if I can explain it -- but we'll be OK. We got some stuff figured out today that really helped the car. I can't wait for Indy.

It was a great day for me, but I'm definitely sorry about what happened to Alex. You always hate it when these things happen, and he's just ended up in the wrong place a couple of times this year. For me, it was very fun racing today. Things were a bit crazy at the beginning, but the guys calmed down and made the car a lot of fun to drive. This was by far my best race on one of these fast ovals. It was the first time that we were able to stick with the leaders, but it's not going to be the last.

I'm sure he didn't mean to do it and all that stuff, but I wasn't happy about it. I showed it to him after the race. I like racing with Matt ... that stuff rarely happens with him. But I'm going to give it back what he gives to me.

I did terrible in history in school. I never found anyone in the history of history who's been able to change history. The stuff that happened last week happened last week. What happened last week is not important to me. It's seven days old. It's a total waste of time.

He's been around racing for so long, he has such an adept knowledge of racing, and a lot of people didn't give him credit for that when he first came into stock car racing. If I had a second-car team, he could drive for me any time. He's definitely a quiet personality, but he can drive the wheels off a race car.

It was like a battle box with 3,400-pound cars. It was a wild day, but the conditions didn't favor good racing. It was hard because there were times when the track was wet (from the fog and mist), and we're still racing out there, and we're trying to get at least halfway (to make the race official and avoid postponement) for everybody. I think that's what happened when Jeff (Gordon) got into me.

I've been racing since I was 14 and I've always wanted to be a professional driver. I'm 39 now, and time is running out. The next time I race it will be for a living. I've been racing just for fun, but I'm not going to do that any more.

You're really racing the same guys. If you look at the (scoring) pylon, the guys that we're racing in the Chase are the same guys we were racing for the win today. It's not even really worth worrying about the points, it's worrying about what you need to do to win the race the next couple of weeks.

I think it's kind of stupid he still thinks about that. It's something that happened a long time ago. He's still acting like a kid. Whatever he wants to do next, that's OK, I guess. What is said is said, what happened happened. He hit me, no big deal. It's part of baseball.
