It's a big weekend for us next weekend, . It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson. .. I'm glad I've got a lot of stuff to do this week, shooting a commercial Tuesday in Charlotte and the I think the whole team is going to go fishing.

I don't think we played as well last weekend. We had an up-and-down week of practice and it showed this weekend. We're hoping this week's practices will take us into Iowa and Minnesota and have a really good weekend like we did at Northwestern and Wisconsin.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

I'm encouraged by a little bit of positive momentum in terms of the bulk of the team competing well on a given day. This last weekend and the weekend prior I saw that instead of the hit-and-miss stuff that we had the first few weeks of the outdoor season.

Tuesday we went pretty intense, but we can't do that all week and expect them to perform at the weekend. Everyone's under the same hammer. It's about which team is smarter to react to that.

Gas prices sometimes go up on Thursday. This is when demand starts creeping up. People go away for the weekend. So it's high then and then it slowly starts creeping down after the weekend. Typically, the lowest price day of the week is generally Tuesday midday or Wednesday morning.

The team sectional can take care of itself this weekend if each kid goes out and puts himself in the best position for the following weekend. These kids know the better they do this week, the better off they are in the regional. There's no chance of losing focus (today).

Regardless of what happens Tuesday (tonight), we're not going to carry it into the weekend. When this one's over, we'll immediately start thinking about and getting ready for the weekend.

I'm sure she got 200 to 300 pairs a day, but someone brought mine to her. She took them with her to her farm in Indiana for a three-day weekend. She called me the following Tuesday and said she'd worn them the entire weekend.

Last weekend we had a solid run going, but the bolt on the sway bar broke while we were running in the top 10. Hopefully this weekend we can start to put some good finishes together before the end of the season. It has been discouraging, but I believe in this team's abilities and we will get after it again this weekend.

These were good swims for this weekend. Our goal was to swim fast enough this weekend to get our foot in the door so we can swim even faster next weekend. I thought we were a little tentative today, so we need to refocus during practices this week.

It is a big weekend, and they're all big if we're going to win the league. After going 1-2 last week, it makes this weekend even bigger. We need to go out and be successful. We need to play at our level. If we play well, then we'll have a good weekend. I really expect us to do that.

Our team is really pumped right now. With our win last weekend, we gained several spots in the points and are still a contender for the Chase. The guys will be really focused this weekend on executing their pit stops. We're bringing our Chicago and Michigan car to California and it's done well for us, so we're looking forward to being competitive again this weekend.

We tested in Martinsville back in the spring but still didn't quite get the set-up right for the first race. We've addressed that issue and hopefully will be better this weekend. We took a hit at Charlotte over the weekend and are looking to rebound from that. Martinsville historically has not been a good track for us but we're staying positive and focused on coming out with a strong finish.

Chris will do whatever he wants this weekend, ... He and I will reconvene early next week and go from there. We've got a game to play this weekend, and I have a team to orchestrate. Chris will make his plans accordingly and be back to Baltimore on Monday.
