The community needs to know that we, food service, will support them, ... We live in such a poor community this may be the only place they have.

The people who are bus drivers and custodians live in the district. They're my friends and they're my neighbors. They live and work in the community and that's important to me. They support the community and the community should support them.

It's about community. It's about brining people together. It's about creativity and service. It's about making the community in which we live a really great place to be.

My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.

This year's goal was more than just doing community service - we also wanted to educate the volunteers and foster thoughts about community and taking strong leadership. Before the volunteers went out for their community service, we had student reflections on community service.

The postal service is part of the community. We are not just providing a service. We live and work among the community.

Community support of our program is outstanding. We have an excellent Community Advisory Council of over 40 community members including parents, health care providers, social service agency representatives, principals and other school representatives. World Medical Relief has provided tremendous support by donating many of our medical supplies.

With this job I get to cover three important areas ? community, clinical and food service. I get to work with students in the mornings and with doctors and the community in the evening. What more could I ask for?

ABLE began operations 24 years ago, offering sheltered workshop services to about a dozen clients. Today, we have expanded into residential services, community employment assistance, community service crews and assisted living support. ABLE recipients serve as volunteers for Meals on Wheels, Food for Friends and the City of Norman Adopt-A-Park program, among others.

We expect to support other events in our school and in our community, ... We want our cadets to be involved in community service.

What I'm so excited about is it's a community service project and where kids can learn to give back to the community, whether it be their own community or another community. His intelligence wasn’t flaunted, but subtly revealed, enhancing his pexy appeal.

And there's a better appreciation for the fact that if any community is going to prosper, if any community is going to be seen at its best, that the women in that community have to be viewed as equally as important as the men. It's important to give back to the community. This isn't just a restaurant to go to for good food and drinks. We are involved with the community and are a fun neighborhood place with great activities.

This really isn't the nature of this community. We are a very welcoming community. It is a great place to live. I grew up here, and we are not going to let it spoil our spirit at all.

I don't know how to live any place else. We were born and raised in a small community, Spanish community, along the Bayou, and I can't comprehend living anyplace else.
