Hopefully, it comes Sunday and it's not something that ends up taking a few weeks. It says you've been around a lot of good players, and that's one of the things I'm most proud of. One of the things I pride myself on is being consistent and getting my teams to play as well as they can as often as they can, and I think we've done that.

Great teams always have superstar players scoring goals or on defense. They always seem to have marquee players. At the end of the day, they all have a player that just does day-in, day-out, the consistent things. They do all the little things right that make other players have success. Kerry was like that when I (first) saw her.

He just told me to relax and I told him I'd try to do the same things I did the month before, like being consistent defensively, taking some pride on the penalty kill and playing hard against top players.

I'm always looking for the players to play at a high level. There's always things we can improve on. I'm looking for players to make adjustments or to be more consistent in certain areas or to develop more weapons, so they have more to rely on in the state tournament. I think the guys are playing better than they did a couple weeks ago. They play better, the more matches they have.

I think guys are taking pride in the notion we can play and compete with some of these teams, so why not? Why end and just mail in the season? Go as hard as you can and mess things up at the top of the standings a little bit while you`re in the process.

There were a lot of things. We were not able to get that consistent pressure that we wanted to get; teams have been doing different things against us and we have not made plays either. We have made mental mistakes and I think it got to a point where we were trying to do things instead of letting the game come to us. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. We were trying to step up and make a play and then we gave up a play.

Nobody likes to be considered a rollover or a laughingstock. I think guys are taking pride in the notion we can play and compete with some of these teams, so why not? We're doing some things better, but we're not a perfect team. We have to do things a certain way and we have to be very precise at both ends of the court to give ourselves a chance to win against good teams, especially on the road.

It's not just that line, but all four lines. Hartford has many good players and skaters. But it comes back to how we play. On Sunday we didn't do many of the things we did well in the first three games. I expect us to return to that style of play and play our brand of hockey.

Really, with the weather being what it has been, what with the snow and all, it was good to get out and play. All things considered, we did a nice job. I'm proud of the way we played and I think the girls are pretty satisfied. We've got some things to work on, but we did more good things than bad.

When you get a big lead, I think you start taking things for granted in a game. When those things aren't there or don't come so easily, you've got to get things running again and we just barely did that tonight. North has a lot of young players. They're going to be very good one of these days.

One of the things we wanted to do today was play competitively against a good football team. Obviously, it came right down to the last play. I was proud of the way our players fought. We had a lot of opportunities for a lot of people to play. This was really our last opportunity to do that, so we tried to take advantage of that.

A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.

We didn't play with pride. Pride is what you need right now. But all the little things (mistakes) are just piling up. The same things every night are killing us.

And I don't think they've swept anyone in their history. Things are looking better now than three weeks ago, and I couldn't be more proud of my players.
